Top 5 Point Guards in the NBA

Christmas is a great day for NBA fans. There is always a great slate of games and yesterday was no different. We got to watch: Wizards/Knicks, Thunder/Spurs, Cavaliers/Heat, Lakers/Bulls, and Warriors/Clippers. Each of these games featured a top tier point guard. As usual, the games sparked a lot of debate on social media. The main debate among fans, writers, and analysts was in regards to which point guards are the best in the NBA. Twitter doesn’t provide nearly enough characters and no one is interested in a Facebook status where you have to click “Continue Reading” so I figured I would throw in my two cents here.

Grading 2014 Forest Hills Drive

When I first started this blog a couple weeks ago, I did it with the intention of writing primarily about sports. As it turns out, I actually have a lot of other interests! What a surprise because it seems like I don’t do anything except watch, listen to, and read about sports 24/7. It’s good to know that sports haven’t completely taken over my life (yet).

With that being said, I’d like to talk a little about J. Cole’s new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive. It’s his third album and upon the first listen, potentially his worst. Before you call me a hater or tell me I don't know anything about music, hear me out first. I’m not saying that the album itself is bad, I just think Cole World: The Sideline Story and Born Sinner are better.

Serial is the Best Thing Since Cereal

Ok, so I lied in the title. Serial doesn't even begin to compare to real cereal. If I was forced to choose between a podcast and Fruity Pebbles, I’d pick Fruity Pebbles 101 times out of 100. Just thought I’d clear that up.

Once again, I’m fashionably late to a party. About 2 months late, to be exact. I tend to show up late to a lot of parties. I don't mean parties in the literal sense of the word. I'm actually referring to: movies, TV shows, books, and in this particular case, podcasts. The party/podcast that I showed up late to is called Serial. I would highly recommend subscribing to it for free on iTunes or streaming it online at http://serialpodcast.org/ (also free). People wouldn't stop talking about it on social media and I decided to finally give it a shot. So far, so good.
